Reconfiguring VMware Blockchain

You can reconfigure the VMware Blockchain platform using the various supported reconfiguration operation.

Reconfiguration commands are executed like any other write request. The VMware Blockchain Replica nodes must reach a consensus and agree upon the command execution. The following reconfiguration commands can be performed on the VMware Blockchain platform.

• Scaling - Add or remove Replica or Client nodes from a VMware Blockchain deployment topology

• Key Rotation - Rotate specific Replica or Client node keys

• Pruning - Prune stale keys to free storage resources

• Wedging- Wedge and unwedge commands let you take down or bring up the blockchain.
