To create a Unified Management login account, perform the following procedure.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the Carbon Black App Control console with an account that has permission to manage login accounts. The default admin account has that permission.
  2. On the console menu bar, on the Settings (gear) menu, click Login Accounts.
  3. On the Users tab of the Login Accounts page, click the Add User button.
  4. On the Add Login Account page, provide the mandatory information and any optional information for this account. In the User Roles panel:
    • To create an account that can both use the features and change the configuration of Unified Management, select the Administration (Unified Management) box.
    • To create an account that can use the features but not change the configuration of Unified Management, select the User (Unified Management) box.
  5. When you have completed the configuration for this user, click Create & Exit.
