Windows User/Group to Manage Agents

If defined, the specified Windows user or group can run special commands for Carbon Black App Control Agent management on computers that recognize that user or group.

To manually enter a user or group, select the User or Group radio button. You also can enter a user or group SID in this text box.

To select a Windows group (for example, Local Administrators), from a menu, select the Predefined group button.

Mac User/Group to Manage Agents

If defined, the specified macOS user or group can run special commands for Carbon Black App Control Agent management on computers that recognize the user or group. Select the User radio button or the Group button and enter a name in the text box.

Linux User/Group to Manage Agents

If defined, the specified Linux user or group can run special commands for Carbon Black App Control Agent management on computers that recognize the user or group. Select the User radio button or the Group button and enter a name in the text box.

Enable Global Password

If defined, any user can use the specified password to run special commands for Carbon Black App Control Agent management from the client computer. Check the box to enter the password.

If you define both a password and a user or group for agent management, you need only one for access.

The password must be between 1 and 64 characters long, be in the ASCII character set, and must not contain the following special characters: | > < & % ( ) @ . [ ] { } : ; ^ = ! ' " ` ~,
