After the installer finishes and exits, the App Control Server starts running again and updates the existing agent installers for each policy and platform.
This process takes a few minutes, the exact time depending upon the number of policies you have. If you are refreshing the version of the App Control Agent installer on distribution points for a software deployment mechanism, make sure the agent installer has completed its upgrade before deploying it.
