Customize Notifiers

You customize an existing notifier by editing its settings.

Prerequisites

Make sure you are familiar with the notifiers settings. For more information, see Notifier Settings for Add/Edit.

Procedure

1. Navigate to the Edit Notifier page in either way.
   • On the console menu, select the Rules > Notifiers page and click the View Details button next to the name of the notifier you want to edit.
   • On the console menu, select the Rules > Policies page and click the View Details button next to the name of the policy you want to edit. Then, select the Device Control Settings or Advanced tab on the Edit Policy page, and click Edit next to the name of the notifier.
   • On the console menu, select the Rules > Software Rules page, click on the Custom, Registry, or Memory tab, and select the View Details button next to the name of the rule. Then, if the Custom Notifier menu is showing on the Edit Rule page, click Edit next to the name of the notifier.
2. Review and change the notifier settings.
3. To preserve your changes, click the Save button.
