Create a Meter from the File Details Page

To monitor executions of one file, you can create a meter directly from its File Details page. This has the advantage of pre-configuring most of the information required for the meter, including the hash value. Meters created in this way are automatically Hash type meters.

Procedure

1. Open the File Details page for the file to meter.
2. In the Actions menu, click Add Meter. The Add Software Meter page opens, with the Hash value of the file already entered and the file name as the default meter name.
3. You can optionally change the meter name and add a description.
4. Click Save to save and enable the meter.
