Action Menu on External Notifications Table Page

The Action menu on the External Notifications page includes the commands for changing the status of one or more notifications checked in the table and for retrieving more information about files referenced in them.

Note: The notification management commands are strictly for management convenience and have no impact on files in the notifications:

• Escalate Notification – This indicates that the notifications are of interest and you intend to investigate and/or take action related to them.
• Resolve Notification – This indicates that you have finished responding to these notifications.
• Close Notification – This indicates that you have resolved these notifications, made any necessary comments on the External Notification Details page, and no longer need to track them.
• View Carbon Black Reputation Data – If Carbon Black File Reputation is activated and an MD5 hash is included in the notification, opens the Carbon Black File Reputation website and displays any information available for these hashes in the checked notifications.
