Adding Computers

Computers are added to the Computers table on the Carbon Black App Control Console when you install the agent on them and they contact the Carbon Black App Control Server – there is no special “Add Computer” operation required.

If you are using AD-based policy assignment, a new computer is assigned a policy based on the rules you set for mapping AD data for a computer (or its users) to security policies. Otherwise, the computer is assigned the policy specified in the agent installation package chosen for it.
