Non-documentation files, such as agent installers, can still be found on the Release Information and Downloads site on VMware Docs.

Some of these documents are updated with every new released build while others are updated only for minor or major version changes:

• VMware Carbon Black App Control Operating Environment Requirements

  This describes the hardware and software platform requirements for Carbon Black App Control Server, the SQL Server database that stores Carbon Black App Control data, and the Carbon Black App Control Agent.

• VMware Carbon Black App Control Server Installation Guide

  This includes instructions for initial installation of the Carbon Black App Control Server and for upgrades of the server from previous releases.

• VMware Carbon Black Cloud Agent Installation Guide

  This includes information regarding the installation and upgrade of Carbon Black App Control agents.

• VMware Carbon Black App Control Events Guide

  This document provides a detailed inventory of events recorded by the Carbon Black App Control Server and includes instructions for integrating event data with third-party SIEM systems via Syslog.

• Server and Agent Release Notes can be found on VMware Docs.

  These documents are specific to the version and build of Carbon Black App Control Server or Agent and contain information about new features, corrective content, and known issues with the release.
