Carbon Black App Control Server Version |
Version number of the installed Carbon Black App Control Server software. This information is read-only. |
Server Address |
IP address or qualified DNS name for the Carbon Black App Control Server. If you change the server address, you must reinstall the Carbon Black App Control Agent on all endpoints (although not if you change from an IP address to an equivalent DNS name or vice versa). As soon as the agent is installed, endpoints reinitialize and all files except those explicitly banned on the server become locally approved and permitted to run. So that you can use the same policies, Carbon Black App Control automatically updates existing agent installation packages with the new IP address so that they direct computers to report to the correct server when they come back online. You can use IPv6 for communications with the Carbon Black App Control Server, but certain versions of the Firefox browser do not accept a numeric IPv6 address. To avoid this problem, use one of the other supported browsers or a fully qualified DNS name. |
Server Port |
Carbon Black App Control Server port that is dedicated to communications with computers running the Carbon Black App Control Agent. You cannot change this port after server installation. (Read-only) |

However, to account for non-standard handling of daylight saving time in certain zones, you can set the server timezone explicitly by using the dropdown menu. |
