Disabling Reputation Approvals for a Publisher

You can disable reputation approvals for individual publishers.

If you create an exception before enabling reputation rules on your server, it prevents any approvals by reputation for instances of files from the publisher. If you create an exception after enabling reputation rules, any files from an approved publisher found on agent-managed computers prior to disabling the publisher are already locally approved by reputation, and do not become unapproved if you disable the publisher. Only files first seen by this Carbon Black App Control Server after you disable approval for the publisher are unaffected by the publisher’s reputation.

To disable reputation approval for a publisher, open the Publisher Details page for the publisher, deselect the check box next to Enable reputation approvals for this publisher, and click the Save button.

To re-enable reputation approval for a publisher, open the Publisher Details page for the publisher, select the check box next to Enable reputation approvals for this publisher, and click the Save button.
