The VMware Carbon Black team is pleased to announce the general availability of the 8.7.8 Carbon Black App Control Linux Agent.

VMware encourages customers to always update to the latest versions of VMware software to benefit from security and stability improvements.

The Carbon Black App Control v8.7.8 Linux Agent is a maintenance release.

  • The App Control Linux Agent now supports RHEL 8.6.
  • The App Control Linux Agent now adds additional security verification for components inside Linux installation packages
