View Vulnerabilities in ServiceNow

Vulnerabilities are created in the National Vulnerabilities Database (NVD) table.

Procedure

1. Log in to your ServiceNow instance.
2. Go to Vulnerability Response > Libraries > NVD.
3. Open the Vulnerability record to view vulnerability information such as ID, Risk Rating, Risk Score, Severity, and Summary.
4. To view vulnerability details, click the Vulnerability Details tab.

   

5. To view vulnerable items that are associated with the current vulnerability, click the Vulnerable Items tab in the NVD table.

   

6. To view created vulnerable items, go to Vulnerability Response > Vulnerable Items > All.
7. Open any record to view details of the Vulnerable Item.
8. To view the Vulnerability associated with the Vulnerable Item, click the Information icon for the Vulnerability field.
9. To view the affected that is asset associated with the vulnerable item, click the Information icon for the Configuration Item field.
10. To view details of the vulnerability associated with the Configuration Item, click the Vulnerability tab.

    

11. To view the NVD link in the Activities section, click the Notes tab.
12. To open the Vulnerability record, click the NVD link.
