The Alerts Dashboard includes a collection of charts to understand metrics such as ingestion rate and variation in severity of alerts.

Two filters apply to all Alert charts:

  • Carbon Black Cloud Creation Time filter: Sets the time interval for the time at which alerts were created in Carbon Black Cloud.
  • Profile filter: Only data pertaining to selected profiles is included in the charts.

The Alerts Dashboard includes the following charts:

  • Total Alerts: Shows the total number of alerts ingested from Carbon Black Cloud
  • Open Alerts: Shows the number of alerts in the Open state ingested from Carbon Black Cloud.
  • In-Progress Alerts: Shows the number of alerts in the In Progress state ingested from Carbon Black Cloud.
  • Closed Alerts: Shows the number of alerts in the Closed state ingested from Carbon Black Cloud.
  • Alerts with Severity > than 8: Shows the number of alerts having severity greater than 8 ingested from Carbon Black Cloud.
  • Alerts Trend: Shows the number of alerts ingested over time.
  • Alerts Ingestion over Time by Severity, Type and Status: Shows the number of alerts ingested over time, separated by Severity, Type and Status.
  • Alerts by Severity: Shows the number of of alerts for each severity level
  • Alerts by Type: Shows the number of alerts for each type
  • Alerts Ingestion over Time: Shows the number of alerts ingested from Carbon Black Cloud over a specified time.
