Remove Asset Groups Assignments

To remove assets from asset groups, perform the following procedure.

Note: Only assets that were manually added to groups can be removed in this way. If an asset was automatically added to a group through metadata and criteria, you cannot remove the asset from the group by using this procedure.

Procedure

1. On the left navigation pane, click Inventory > Endpoints.
2. Select the endpoints to remove from asset groups.
3. On the Take Action menu, click Remove from asset groups.
4. Select the checkbox next to any asset group from which to remove the selected assets. Click Remove.
   Note: Removing assets from groups can change the effective policy.

   

5. Click Preview Impact.
   
6. After reviewing the effective policy impact, click Back.
7. Click Remove.
