Overview

Carbon Black EDR provides powerful features for endpoint threat detection and response. App Control provides its own powerful features for endpoint threat protection.

You can take advantage of their complementary features by installing both the Carbon Black EDR sensor and the App Control agent on your endpoints, and adding Carbon Black EDR features inside App Control to improve your security posture.

In addition to integrating with each other, both Carbon Black EDR and App Control can take advantage of information from the VMware Carbon Black Cloud, which provides reputation information, threat indicators, and attack classification intelligence.
