Create a Carbon Black EDR User for Integration

The user account for the integration must be a Carbon Black EDR Global Administrator.

Procedure

1. Log into Carbon Black EDR.
2. On the left navigation bar, click Users.
3. Click Add User.
4. Define the user to use for the integration:
   1. In the Username field, enter a meaningful username such as App Control Integration.
   2. Populate the First Name and Last Name fields. These values appear in the Carbon Black EDR console.
   3. Provide an email account for the user. An email account is required for Carbon Black EDR console users. However, this email account can be fictitious, because it is not used as a typical account.
   4. Enter and confirm a password for the account.
   5. Select the Global administrator check box.
5. Click Add User.
