Enable Two-Factor Authentication

This section describes how to enable two-factor authentication on your Carbon Black EDR server.

Procedure

1. Search for the following section in the cb.conf configuration file:

    # Two factor authentication plugin path 
    #TwoFactorAuthCallbackModulePath=/usr/share/cb/plugins/duo/duo_2fa_auth_callback.py 

2. Uncomment the TwoFactorAuthCallbackModulePath setting in the cb.conf configuration file as follows:

    # Two factor authentication plugin path 
    TwoFactorAuthCallbackModulePath=/usr/share/cb/plugins/duo/duo_2fa_auth_callback.py
