SSL Certificate Verification

  • Do not select this option (leave it blank) if the cluster uses a self-signed certificate, such as a certificate that the Carbon Black EDR server initialization script generates, and the SSL certificate used within the SSL handshake is not validated.

  • Select Enabled to specify that the Carbon Black EDR Unified View server verifies that the Carbon Black EDR cluster certificate has a valid SSL certificate that is signed by a trusted certificate authority (CA).
