What Is App Launchpad

VMware Cloud Director^® App Launchpad™ is a plug-in for VMware Cloud Director™ that provides catalogs of deployment-ready applications for developers and DevOps engineers.

By using App Launchpad, you can deploy a full stack of applications to VMware Cloud Director without the need to manage the underlying infrastructure.

With App Launchpad 2.1.1, tenant users can deploy preconfigured container applications to a Kubernetes cluster. When you deploy container applications, App Launchpad exposes the configuration files, so tenant users can fine-tune the advanced settings of their container applications.

The user interface of App Launchpad is integrated within the VMware Cloud Director tenant portal.
