View the vApp of an Application in the Virtual Data Center

To review or edit the settings of the vApp on which your application runs, open the vApp in the virtual data center of your organization.

Prerequisites

Verify that you have the vApp User role or the equivalent set of rights assigned to your VMware Cloud Director. For more information, see Predefined Roles and Their Rights in the vCloud Director Documentation.

Procedure

1. Log in to the VMware Cloud Director tenant portal.
2. From the main menu (), select App Launchpad.
3. On the Launched Applications tab, find the application vApp that you want to view in the virtual data center.
4. From the Actions drop-down menu, select View in Virtual Datacenter.

Results

The vApps tab in the VMware Cloud Director tenant portal opens. You can review and edit the details of the vApp.
