Add Tags to a Bucket

Use tags to categorize your buckets. A tag represents a key-value pair.

If you use Cloudian HyperStore, you can add tags to your buckets. The ECS storage platform does not support tagging.

Prerequisites

Verify that you have the required set of rights to add tags to a bucket.

• If you are an organization administrator, you can add tags to buckets that users in your organization own.
• If you are an organization user, you can add tags to the buckets that you own.

Procedure

1. Log in to the VMware Cloud Director tenant portal.
2. From the More drop-down menu, select Object Storage.
3. In the Buckets pane, click the name of the bucket that you want to edit.
4. On the Properties tab, click the link in the Tags section.
5. Enter a key-value for the tag and click Save.
