Restore a Kubernetes cluster

You can restore Kubernetes clusters using the existing backup snapshots.

Prerequisites

Verify that the resources in the protected namespaces and labels are deleted. Velero does not overwrite existing resources.

Procedure

1. Log in to the VMware Cloud Director tenant portal.
2. In the primary left navigation panel, under More, select Object Storage.
3. Click Kubernetes Protection.
4. Select a Kubernetes cluster and click View Details > Backups.
5. Navigate to the backup snapshot that you want to restore, click the vertical ellipsis button, then click Restore.
6. Set the restore options and click Confirm.
