You can uninstall VMware Cloud Director extension for Data Solutions when you no longer need it, or you must reconfigure your system.

To validate the VMware Cloud Director extension for Data Solutions metadata cleanup in VMware Cloud Director, verify that all solution instances are deleted.

Set the --input-force-delete value to true, if you want to uninstall the extension, but keep the existing solution instances in the Kubernetes clusters.

To uninstall VMware Cloud Director extension for Data Solutions, run the following command:

For Windows:
./windows_run.exe delete instance --name <EXTENSION_NAME> --encryptionkey <ENCRYPTION_KEY> --host <HOST_NAME> --username <USER_NAME> --password <PASSWORD> --certificate-file <CERTIFICATE_FILE_NAME> --accept --input-force-delete=<TRUE/FALSE>
For MacOS:
./darwin.run delete instance --name <EXTENSION_NAME> --encryption-key <ENCRYPTION_KEY> --host <HOST_NAME> --username <USER_NAME> --password <PASSWORD> --certificate-file <CERTIFICATE_FILE_NAME> --accept --input-force-delete=<TRUE/FALSE>
For Linux:
./linux.run delete instance --name <EXTENSION_NAME> --encryption-key <ENCRYPTION_KEY> --host <HOST_NAME> --username <USER_NAME> --password <PASSWORD> --certificate-file <CERTIFICATE_FILE_NAME> --accept --input-force-delete=<TRUE/FALSE>
