Set featured solution templates

Solution templates are predefined resource configurations that tenant users can select when deploy solution instances. VMware Cloud Director extension for Data Solutions uses the template to allocate the resources that you define to the solution instance.

VMware Cloud Director extension for Data Solutions has predefined templates and you can review them and set featured templates.

When a tenant user deploys a solution instance, only the featured templates are visible.

Procedure

1. Log in to VMware Cloud Director extension for Data Solutions from VMware Cloud Director.
2. Click Templates and navigate to the solution template that you want to set as featured.
3. Click Actions > Set Featured.
   You can have multiple featured templates.
