You can review and modify the existing email notification settings for a specific VMware Cloud Director instance.

Prerequisites

Verify that you configured SMTP settings for the VMware Cloud Director instance.

Procedure

  1. Log in to VMware Cloud Director service.
  2. Click Cloud Director Instances.
  3. In the card of the VMware Cloud Director instance that you want to manage, click Actions > Configure SMTP Settings.
    The existing SMTP configuration settings appear.
  4. Depending on the existing settings, choose one of the following options.
    • If you want to configure a specified list of email addresses to which to send notifications.
      1. Select the Specified recipients check box.
      2. Enter a comma-separated list of email addresses of the recipients that you want to notify about important system events.
    • If you want to send email notifications to the administrators in the default recipients list for this VMware Cloud Director instance.
      1. Select the All VMware Cloud Director administrators check box.
  5. Click Configure.
