You can review and modify the existing email notification settings for a specific VMware Cloud Director instance.
Prerequisites
Verify that you configured SMTP settings for the VMware Cloud Director instance.
Procedure
- Log in to VMware Cloud Director service.
- Click Cloud Director Instances.
- In the card of the VMware Cloud Director instance that you want to manage, click .
The existing SMTP configuration settings appear.
- Depending on the existing settings, choose one of the following options.
- If you want to configure a specified list of email addresses to which to send notifications.
- Select the Specified recipients check box.
- Enter a comma-separated list of email addresses of the recipients that you want to notify about important system events.
- If you want to send email notifications to the administrators in the default recipients list for this VMware Cloud Director instance.
- Select the All VMware Cloud Director administrators check box.
- Click Configure.
