How Do I Integrate VMware Cloud Director service with VMware vRealize Log Insight Cloud

You can integrate VMware Cloud Director service with VMware vRealize Log Insight Cloud and use vRealize Log Insight Cloud as a log shipping destination for your VMware Cloud Director instances.

Prerequisites

Obtain an API key for the vRealize Log Insight Cloud cloud proxy server. See Securing Logs with API Keys in Using VMware vRealize Log Insight Cloud.

Procedure

1. Log in to VMware Cloud Director service.
   • If you are an enterprise customer, log in at https://console.cloud.vmware.com.
   • If you are a CSP-SaaS partner, log in at https://navigator.vmware.com.
2. Click Integrations.
3. Click Add Integration.
4. Select vRealize Log Insight and click Next.
5. Enter the API token for the vRealize Log Insight Cloud proxy server.
6. Enter the long organization ID for the VMware Cloud services organization that contains vRealize Log Insight Cloud service.
7. Click Create Log Insight Cloud Integration.

You can now configure each of your VMware Cloud Director service instances to ship its logs to vRealize Log Insight Cloud.
