From the Cloud Director Instances tab of the VMware Cloud Director service console you can create and manage the VMware Cloud Director instances.
The deployed VMware Cloud Director instances are displayed in a card view. In addition to creating a VMware Cloud Director instance, from the card of an already deployed VMware Cloud Director instance, you can perform a list of management tasks, such as, but not limited to:
- Associate the VMware Cloud Director instance with an SDDC.
- Open the VMware Cloud Director Service Provider Admin Portal.
- Reset the VMware Cloud Director administrator password.
- Generate a support bundle.
- Customize the DNS and certificate settings of a deployed VMware Cloud Director instance.
- Configure VMware Cloud Services as an Identity Provider for the VMware Cloud organization in which the VMware Cloud Director instance is deployed.
You can perform this management task only if you are an organization owner.
- Manage logging.
- Delete the VMware Cloud Director instance.
