How Do I Revert to a Default DNS Configuration and Self-Signed Certificate in VMware Cloud Director service

After you customize the DNS and self-signed configuration, if necessary, you can revert to the default DNS configuration and the self-signed certificate that were generated upon the deployment of your VMware Cloud Director instance.

Procedure

1. Log in to VMware Cloud Director service.
   • If you are an enterprise customer, log in at https://console.cloud.vmware.com.
   • If you are a CSP-SaaS partner, log in at https://navigator.vmware.com.
2. Click Cloud Director Instances.
3. In the card of the VMware Cloud Director instance, click Actions > Associate Custom Domain.
4. Click the Revert to default domain radio button and click Next.
5. Click Associate custom domain.

Results

The DNS and certificate settings are reverted to the automatically generated DNS and self-signed certificate settings.
