How Do I Delete a VMware Cloud Director Instance in VMware Cloud Director service

If you no longer need a VMware Cloud Director instance, you can delete it.

When you delete a VMware Cloud Director instance, all running tasks stop and you lose all the data and configuration settings of the VMware Cloud Director instance. You can no longer access the instance, because the delete action is irreversible.

Procedure

1. Log in to VMware Cloud Director service.
   • If you are an enterprise customer, log in at https://console.cloud.vmware.com.
   • If you are a CSP-SaaS partner, log in at https://navigator.vmware.com.
2. Click Cloud Director Instances.
3. In the card of the VMware Cloud Director instance that you want to delete, click Actions > Delete Instance.
4. Confirm that you aware of the consequences by selecting all check boxes and click Delete.
   Note: You cannot delete a VMware Cloud Director instance without selecting all check boxes.
