Review the Metadata of a Virtual Data Center

VMware Cloud Director provides a general-purpose facility for associating user-defined metadata with an object. If your system administrator has created metadata for the organization virtual data center, you can review the organization data center metadata in the VMware Cloud Director Tenant Portal.

Prerequisites

Verify that you are logged in as an organization administrator or a role with equivalent set of rights.

Procedure

1. On the Virtual Data Center dashboard screen, click the card of the virtual data center you want to explore.
2. Under Settings, click Metadata.
   The list of the available metadata displays.
