VMware Cloud Director requires a valid license, specified as a serial number, to run. You can modify the licensing information that you entered during the initial VMware Cloud Director configuration.

The VMware Cloud Director product serial number is not the same as your vCenter license key. You can obtain a VMware Cloud Director serial number from the VMware License Portal.

Procedure

  1. From the primary left navigation panel, select Administration.
  2. From the left pane, select License and click Edit.
  3. Enter a new serial number and click Save.
