Switch Between VMware Cloud Director Organizations

Starting with VMware Cloud Director 10.6, you can use the organization selector to easily navigate to a different organization.

The Switch Organization modal might appear differently depending on the role you are logged in as.

Prerequisites

1. Log In to the VMware Cloud Director Tenant Portal

2. Verify that the drop-down menu with your organization name and site name is available. The drop-down menu button is available when your organization has associated organizations or if you are logged in as a sub-provider and your organization has tenants.

Procedure

1. From the top navigation bar, click the drop-down menu with your organization name and site name.
   The Switch Organization modal opens.
2. From the list, select the organization to which you want to navigate.

   A search box appears if the list of organizations exceeds one page. A site-selector appears when you are logged into a multisite environment.

   If you are logged in as a sub-provider, you might see the following buttons to filter the organizations.

   Option	Description
   Associated	Shows a list of associated organizations in your environment. Appears if there are any organizations associated with your organization.
   Tenants	Shows the tenant organizations you are managing. Appears if there are any organizations associated with your organization.

3. As a sub-provider, if you want to return to the organization in which you logged in from a tenant organization, click the home button in the upper-right corner of the modal.
