You can purchase VMware Cloud DR from two different sellers.

Purchase Options

You have two ways to purchase VMware Cloud DR:
  • Purchase a Pilot. With a pilot, you can buy a preset amount of 5 TiB capacity and 25 VMs to protect. Additional overage rates apply above that.
  • Create a subscription. After requesting the service, you can purchase additional protected storage capacity subscription through VMware using VMware Subscription Purchasing Program (SPP) credits, or through AWS.
Note: If you are not sure how much protected capacity you need, use the VMware Cloud DR Sizer to estimate your DR needs.

Payment Methods

To purchase VMware Cloud DR, you can use funds, credit cards or link an unrestricted Pay by Invoice account. For more information, see Managing Payment Methods.
