vRealize Automation is an optional component that can be deployed as part of the cloud management layer.

The following table depicts the resources required to support the deployment of vRealize Automation.
Note: Not all of the components listed need to consume resources within the Cloud Foundation environment. The Microsoft SQL server instance can be deployed within the management domain or at an external location accessible over the network.
