You start vRealize Operations Manager by first powering on the analytics cluster nodes and remote collectors, then bringing the cluster online in the vRealize Operations Manager user interface.

In a SDDC, to provide metrics collection and analysis there are three clustered vRealize Operations Manager nodes deployed in thevRealize Operations Managerfolder and two remote collector nodes in the vRealize Operations Manager folder in the management cluster in the management domain.

You complete this procedure if you deployed an SDDC by following VMware Validated Design.
