Start VMware Live Cyber Recovery Connector Appliances for Cloud-Based Ransomware Recovery for VMware Cloud Foundation

To start the VMware Live Cyber Recovery Connector appliances, use the vCenter Server user interface.

If you start up the entire management domain, you start the VMware Live Cyber Recovery Connector appliances last. For the full-stack startup order of VMware Cloud Foundation, see Starting Up VMware Cloud Foundation.

Procedure

1. Log in to the management domain vCenter Server at https://<management_vcenter_server_fqdn>/ui by using an account with Administrator privileges.

2. In the VMs and templates inventory, expand the management domain vCenter Server tree and expand the management domain data center.

3. Navigate to the VMware Live Cyber Recovery Connector appliance in the inventory.

4. Right-click the virtual machine and click Power > Power on.

5. Verify the operational state of the connector appliance after the startup.

6. Repeat the process for all VMware Live Cyber Recovery Connector appliances.
