Update the HCX Connector to vCenter Server Service Account Password for Cross Cloud Mobility for VMware Cloud Foundation

You registered the HCX Connector appliance with vCenter Server using a dedicated service account with restrictive access. When you update the password of the service account, you must refresh the user credentials in the HCX Connector appliance.

Procedure

1. Log in to the HCX Connector at https://<hcx_connector_fqdn>:9443 with a user assigned the Admin role.

2. Select the Configuration tab.

3. In the left pane, select vCenter server.

4. On the vCenter Server page, click Edit.

5. In the Password text box, enter the new password and click Save.
