Verify the Connection of NSX with Active Directory for Identity and Access Management for VMware Cloud Foundation

Validate the connection between NSX and Active Directory.

Validate the connection status of NSX Manager with Active Directory by checking the LDAP domain connection status.

Expected Outcome
Active Directory connection has a status of Success.

Procedure

1. Log in to NSX Local Manager for the management domain at https://<management_domain_nsx_local_manager_fqdn>/login.jsp?local=true as admin.
2. On the main navigation bar, click System.

3. In the left pane, click Settings > User management and click the Authentication providers tab.

4. Click the LDAP tab.

5. In the row for the LDAP domain, click Check status.

6. Verify the connection has a status of Success.

7. Repeat the procedure for each NSX Local Manager and NSX Global Manager of each workload domain type.
