Implementing the Intelligent Network Visibility for VMware Cloud Foundation validated solution includes deploying VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle, preparing your VMware Cloud Foundation instance, deploying the VMware Aria Operations for Networks, and configuring data sources inside the VMware Cloud Foundation instance.

Prerequisites

To complete the implementation of the Intelligent Network Visibility for VMware Cloud Foundation validated solution, verify that your system fulfills the following prerequisites.

  • Verify that the product binaries for VMware Aria Operations for Networks are accessible in VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle.

  • For guidance on how to directly download the product binaries to an internet-connected VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle instance, or manually download the product binaries for use in air-gapped environments, see Configure Product Binaries.

License

  • Verify that you obtain the VMware Aria Suite or VMware Aria Operations for Networks license with a quantity that fulfills the requirements of this design.

Active Directory

  • Verify that Active Directory Domain Controllers are available in the environment.
  • Verify that the required service accounts are created in Active Directory.
  • Verify that the required security groups are created in Active Directory.

Certificate Authority

If you want to use the infrastructure-as-code method for the implementation and configuration of the Intelligent Network Visibility for VMware Cloud Foundation validated solution, verify that your system fulfills the following prerequisites.
