With SDDC Manager, you can initiate a password change for a particular root or admin account for VMware Aria Operations. Unlike password rotation, which generates a randomized password, you provide the new password. You can update only one account password at a time.

Procedure
- VMware Cloud Foundation 5.2.1 or later

- Log in to SDDC Manager at https://<sddc_manager_fqdn> with a user assigned the Admin role.
- In the left pane, navigate to .
- On the Password management page, filter the list to include all VMware Aria Operations users.
- Click the vertical ellipses for the account whose password you want to update and click Update password.
- In the Update password dialog box, enter the new password you want to set for the user, and click Update.
- Repeat the procedure for the remaining accounts.
