After you update the NSX principal identity with the new certificate, you must refresh the credential in VMware Aria Operations and validate the adapter connection.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the VMware Aria Operations interface at https://<aria_operations_fqdn> with a user assigned the Administrator role.
  2. In the left pane, navigate to Data Sources > Integrations.

  3. Click the Accounts tab and click Credentials.

  4. On the Credentials page, click the ellipses for the NSX principal identity and click Edit.

  5. In the Manage credential dialog box, in the Client certificate data text box, paste the contents of the nsx_local_manager_cluster_hostname.cer certificate file.

  6. In the Client key data text box, paste the contents of the nsx_local_manager_cluster_hostname.key certificate file.

  7. Click OK.

  8. In the left pane, navigate to Data sources > Integrations.
  9. Click the Accounts tab, expand the VMware Cloud Foundation account, and locate the NSX acount.

  10. Click the ellipses for the NSX account and click Edit.

  11. On the Cloud account information page, click Validated connection.

  12. In the Info dialog box, click OK.

  13. Click Save.
