After you bring up an additional VMware Cloud Foundation instance to you environment, to activate the vRealize Automation services in the additional VMware Cloud Foundation instance, perform the necessary configuration tasks.
Return to the previous procedures and configure vRealize Automation to provision virtual machines and network services in the additional VMware Cloud Foundation instance according to your values in the VMware Cloud Foundation Planning and Preparation Workbook.
Procedure
Create a virtual machine folder and a resource pool on the VI workload domain vCenter Server to group vRealize Automation-managed workloads.
Repeat Create a Virtual Machine and Template Folder and a Resource Pool for the vRealize Automation-Managed Workloads for Private Cloud Automation for VMware Cloud Foundation for each VI workload domain vCenter Server in the additional VMware Cloud Foundation instance.
Configure the necessary privileges for vRealize Automation on both the VI workload domain vCenter Server and the VI workload domain NSX Manager cluster in the additional VMware Cloud Foundation instance.
Repeat Configure Service Account Privileges in vSphere and NSX Manager for Private Cloud Automation for VMware Cloud Foundation for the management domain vCenter Server and the VI workload domain NSX Manager cluster in the additional VMware Cloud Foundation instance according to your values in the VMware Cloud Foundation Planning and Preparation Workbook.
If you want to use Terraform for configuring vRealize AutomationCloud Assembly for the additional VMware Cloud Foundation instance, obtain an API refresh token from vRealize Automation by using Powershell.
Create and link vCenter Server and NSX-T Data Center cloud accounts to Active Directory service users with the necessary privileges to provide cloud templates provisioning through vRealize Automation.
Repeat Configure Cloud Assembly for Private Cloud Automation for VMware Cloud Foundation for each VI workload domain in the additional VMware Cloud Foundation instance according to your values in the VMware Cloud Foundation Planning and Preparation Workbook.
Import the trusted certificate of the certificate authority and add the VI workload domain vCenter Server to vRealize Orchestrator.
Repeat Configure vRealize Orchestrator for Private Cloud Automation for VMware Cloud Foundation for each certificate and each VI workload domain in the additional VMware Cloud Foundation instance according to your values in the VMware Cloud Foundation Planning and Preparation Workbook.
