Verify that you can authenticate to the VMware Aria Automation portal by using the built-in default administrative account.

Validate that VMware Aria Automation is online and accessible by authenticating with the local system account.

Expected Outcome

You can successfully authenticate to VMware Aria Automation by using the default system account and you have visibility of all VMware Aria Automation services.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the VMware Aria Automation cloud services console at https://<aria_automation_cluster_fqdn>/csp/gateway/portal as configadmin in the system domain.
  2. On the Services tab, verify that you can access each service.

    • Assembler

    • Orchestrator

    • Pipelines

    • Service Broker

    • Migration Assistant

  3. Click VMware cloud services applications menu in the top-right corner, select Identity and access management, and verify that you can access the active users and enterprise groups.
