You set up health check monitoring for the VMware Aria Operations analytics cluster to monitor the server pool that you later create. Servers that fail to respond to the health checks within a specified time period are excluded from future request handling.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the NSX Global Manager for the management domain at https://<active_nsx_gm_fqdn>/login.jsp?local=true as admin.

  2. From the drop-down menu at the top, select the recovery site NSX location according to your value in the VMware Cloud Foundation Planning and Preparation Workbook.

  3. On the main navigation bar, click Networking.
  4. In the left pane, navigate to Network services > Load balancing.

  5. Click the Monitors tab.

  6. From the Select monitor type drop-down menu, select Active.

  7. From the Add active monitor drop-down menu, select HTTPS , configure the following settings and configure the remaining settings according to your VMware Cloud Foundation Planning and Preparation Workbook.

  8. Configure HTTP request and response settings.

    1. In the HTTP request section, click Configure.

    2. In the HTTP request and response configuration dialog box, click the HTTP request configuration tab, and configure the settings.
