Implementation of vSphere Replication for the Management Domain

You deploy and configure vSphere Replication to provide replication of critical virtual machine data from the protected to the recovery VMware Cloud Foundation instance and for failover or planned migration by using Site Recovery Manager.

This guidance instructs that you implement vSphere Replication and Site Recovery Manager simultaneously in the two VMware Cloud Foundation instances. As an alternative, you can implement vSphere Replication and Site Recovery Manager for the recovery VMware Cloud Foundation instance after you first implement the products in the protected VMware Cloud Foundation instance.
