You create an application profile and associate it with a virtual server to define the behavior of a particular type of network traffic. The virtual server then processes traffic according to the values specified in the profile.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the NSX Global Manager for the management domain at https://<active_nsx_gm_fqdn>/login.jsp?local=true as admin.

  2. From the drop-down menu at the top, select the recovery site NSX location according to your value in the VMware Cloud Foundation Planning and Preparation Workbook.

  3. Create the application profiles for VMware Aria Automation.

    1. On the main navigation bar, click Networking.
    2. In the left pane, navigate to Load balancing > Profiles.

    3. From the Select profile type drop-down menu, select Application.

    4. From the Add application profile drop-down menu, select Fast TCP, configure the following settings, configure the remaining settings according to your VMware Cloud Foundation Planning and Preparation Workbook, and click Save.

    5. From the Add application profile drop-down menu, select HTTP, configure the following settings, configure the remaining settings according to your VMware Cloud Foundation Planning and Preparation Workbook, and click Save.
