You create two L7 HTTP virtual servers for the clustered Workspace ONE Access instance. These virtual servers are associated with the configured application profile and server pool and distribute client connections among the server pool members.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the NSX Global Manager for the management domain at https://<active_nsx_gm_fqdn>/login.jsp?local=true as admin.
  2. From the drop-down menu at the top, select the recovery site NSX location according to your value in the VMware Cloud Foundation Planning and Preparation Workbook.
  3. On the main navigation bar, click Networking.
  4. In the left pane, navigate to Load balancing > Virtual servers.
  5. From the Add virtual server drop-down menu, select L7 HTTP, configure the following settings and configure the remaining settings according to your VMware Cloud Foundation Planning and Preparation Workbook.

  6. Configure the SSL settings of the virtual server.
    1. In the SSL configuration section, click Configure.
    2. Click the Client SSL tab, configure the following settings and configure the remaining settings according to your VMware Cloud Foundation Planning and Preparation Workbook.

    3. Click the Server SSL tab, configure the following settings, configure the remaining settings according to your VMware Cloud Foundation Planning and Preparation Workbook, and click Save.

  7. Configure the load balancing settings of the virtual server.
    1. On the Add virtual server page, expand the Load balancer rules section.
    2. In the Request rewrite phrase section, click Set.
    3. On the Set load balancer rules dialog box, click the Request rewrite tab and click Add rule.
    4. Delete the existing HTTP Request URI.
    5. Configure the following settings, click Save, and click Apply.

  8. On the Virtual servers page, click Save.
  9. From the Add virtual server drop-down menu, select L7 HTTP, configure the following settings, configure the remaining settings according to your VMware Cloud Foundation Planning and Preparation Workbook, and click Save.
