Your environment must meet certain system and software requirements for VMware Cloud Foundation+.

Supported VMware Cloud Foundation Versions

VMware Cloud Foundation+ is compatible with the following VMware Cloud Foundation versions:

  • VMware Cloud Foundation 4.5.x

    Mixed licensing mode is supported for VMware Cloud Foundation 4.5.2.

  • VMware Cloud Foundation 5.0

If you plan to use a VMware Cloud Foundation instance that is upgraded from version 4.3 or version 4.4, at a minimum, you must upgrade the management domain to VMware Cloud Foundation 4.5 or upgrade the management domain to VMware Cloud Foundation 5.0, and apply an async patch for vCenter Server 7.0 Update 3h to the vCenter Server instances for the VI workload domains .

Important: Upgrading from version 4.5.2 to version 5.0 of VMware Cloud Foundation is not supported.

VMware Cloud Gateway Requirements

Allocate enough resources and provide network connectivity for the deployment and operation of the VMware Cloud Gateway instance that is required to connect your VMware Cloud Foundation instance to VMware Cloud.
