How do I provision services for a customer organization

You provision VMware Cloud services for a customer from the customer portal of a customer organization.

Prerequisites

• You have at least one VMware Cloud service enabled in your provider organization.
• There is at least one customer organization managed by your provider organization.
• You have the required permissions for enabling services in customer organizations. See Roles and permissions.

Procedure

1. On the VMware Cloud Partner Navigator toolbar, click Services > Services Provisioned for Customers and select a customer organization from the drop-down menu.
   Under Services Provisioned for You you see all services currently provisioned for that customer.
2. In the tile of the service that you want to provision, click PROVISION SERVICE
3. If you have more than one commit contract active for that service, select which commit contract to use for this provisioning.
4. To provision the service for that customer organization, click Provision.

Results

The VMware Cloud service is activated for the customer organization and appears under Services Provisioned for You in the Services menu

Initially, the customer organization has no access to the service before you or a provider user with the required permissions sets the customer organization's level of access to the service.

All users with applicable roles in your provider organization are granted administrator privileges for the provisioned service.
